What is a ghost walk?
A ghost walk is a guided walking tour where you’ll visit sites of historical hauntings. In our ghost walk, you’ll hear spooky stories, enjoy some dark humour, use special lab-created scents, take in magnificent views of our haunted, old city, and maybe even see a ghost. While not a ghost hunt in the traditional sense, our ghost walk offers spine-tingling moments rooted in real stories.
How much does the ghost tour cost?
Adult tickets are £18. Child tickets are £7 (this might change). Under 6s are free to haunt.
When are our ghost walks?
Bath Scented Ghost Tours runs every evening, every week of the year, from March to December. We also run a few tours on a few dates in January and February.
Where does the ghost walk start?
We head off from the side of Bath Abbey, 9 Abbey Churchyard, BA11 1LY at 6.30pm and finish at 8:00pm. (If you survive, of course.) Make sure you arrive at Bath Abbey at least 10 to 15 minutes before we start, so we can check tickets and go through our safety talk.

Where does the ghost walk end?
We’ll end the tour near to Sally Lunn’s tea room, 4 North Parade Passage, Bath BA1 1NX. If you need any help getting to the train or bus station afterwards, let us know. We can accompany you there.
How do you book tickets?
Book through our website. You can find tickets elsewhere, but this site will always be the best price. Or you can just turn up and pay, as long as we’ve got room.
Is the ghost walk suitable for kids?
Absolutely. It’s like Horrible Histories, just with a few more racy jokes for the grown-ups.
For safety, only adults should use our aromatherapy cards. Just in case your child decides it’s a marvellous idea to try and eat it.
Is ghost hunting part of the tour?
While we don’t claim to be full-on ghost hunters – and it’s not the main goal – our ghost walk offers plenty of opportunities to feel like one. You’ll explore haunted locations, hear chilling stories, and perhaps even encounter a spirit or two. It’s a fun and thrilling way for anyone curious about ghost hunting to dive into Bath’s haunted history.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, yes, yes! All well-behaved dogs are extremely welcome.
What should you wear?
You’ll be outdoors. And it’ll depend on the weather on the day, whether that’s blazing sunshine or a howling gale. But sensible shoes are best.

How accessible is the tour?
Bath is a historic city, cobbled and uneven in the odd place, but it’s mostly smooth ground. You won’t be walking the entire 90 minutes and we’ll be stopping pretty often. But if your legs do start to ache, there are plenty of benches in Kingston Parade if we get there early.

I’m booked for my ghost walk. What happens next?
All you need to do is to check your email for your ticket confirmation. (We work with a fantastic ticket provider called Ticket Tailor who manage our online bookings.) Check the details, bring your phone, and meet us on the day.
What happens if you’re late?
If you’re over 10 minutes late, email us. We’ll try our absolute best to reschedule your tour for another day.
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts, so we can go through our safety talk.
