What to expect on your ghost walk
On our deathly ghost tour you’ll discover new parts of the city you’ve never seen before. Hear stories of the crooked smile of Juliana Popjoy, a poltergeist that loves to shop, the tragedy of Sally Lunn, the pub-loving and mysterious grey lady, roman curse tablets and more.
Expect to uncover chilling tales, visit hidden locations, and perhaps even feel the thrill of ghost hunting as you walk through Bath’s haunted streets. Along the way you’ll learn about the Roman, Georgian and Medieval periods and how each one has influenced the people and the look of present day Bath. Ghost hunting often relies on gadgets – our approach relies on imagination and storytelling.
We encourage you to join in on the fun (unless you’re really shy). You’ll also get a special card that has microencapsulated oils, which you can scratch and sniff along the journey. (While we wouldn’t exactly recommend eating your aromatherapy card, all ingredients are 100% safe on your skin.)
Your tour guide, either Terror Swift or Florence Frighteningale, will prompt you when and which scent to scratch off for the best experience. (Although you’re free to do it whenever you wish.)
